DISCOVER ISLAM, KNOWLEDGE IS POWER!

The Nazirah/Tajweed department focuses on

teaching students how to read the Qur’an and

its proper recitation.


  • Grades(1-4) - Students learn how to read the
    Qur’an using the Qur’an Made Easy book.


  • Grades (5-7) - Students move on to reading the entire Qur’an during those 3 years from the Qur’an itself. The idea is to build fluency during these grades.


  • Grades (8-10) - Students focus on learning the history and rules of proper recitation (Tajweed).


For students that are having difficulty learning how to read Qur’an or are advanced in their reading, we also have special classes in order to teach students in smaller groups.
